Help Make a Difference for Families and Patients Living with IBD

/ 150

Research. Awareness. Support. Hope for Those Living with IBD.

Connecting to Cure Crohn's and Colitis unites the IBD community to promote public awareness about Crohn’s and colitis, to fund research for new treatments and cures, and to support patients and their families living with these chronic illnesses.

Over 3 million Americans are affected by these diseases; up to 25% are diagnosed as children. Living with a chronic illness is difficult for anyone, but for children in the process of growth and development on every level-physical, emotional, cognitive, and social-it is a tremendous burden. IBD does not just affect the patient but the whole family. Caregivers, in particular are navigating a difficult road, and we provide resources for parents, and anyone caring for someone with IBD.

Funds raised at our event support research that is leading the way to new treatments and, one day, a cure. Our beneficiaries are the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease program at Cedars-Sinai, the Feinstein IBD Clinical Center at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at The Mayo Clinic. We also fund campers at The Painted Turtle camp in California, a summer camp program for kids with IBD, and support families struggling with costs related to their child’s IBD at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. (CHLA).

C to C is a grassroots organization that fills the gaps for people affected by Crohn's Disease or ulcerative colitis. We provide a network of support while educating the public about the seriousness of these diseases and fundraising for research that will lead to new treatments for pediatric and adult populations.
